Breakfast with Santa

Two weekends ago we had the joy of having Breakfast with Santa. The company that Kyle's sister, Brittni, works for has a breakfast with Santa every year. They allow their employees to bring their families and have breakfast and sit on Santa's lap and there are many activities for the bigger kids. I had worked the night before so we were running very late but I wanted to get some pictures of Alex with Santa.
Alex wasnt so sure about Santa and at one point puckered up to cry but we were able to distract him long enought to get a few good shots. Then he snuggled right into his beard, that is my favorite picture. Mrs. Clause was also there (played by Britttni) Here are a few of the pictures.

Tonight Alex and I are hanging out preparing for Christmas, all the shopping is done but I still need to wrap after he goes to bed (it is IMPOSSIBLE to do while he is awake) The cookies for Santa are made. My aunt and uncle arrived in town today and my brother gets in town tomorrow (yay!!) Looks like in a few days we will be celebrateing our first Christmas as a family of three and I am so excited!

As I write this Alex is working on pulling up on the laundry basket, he is getting so big. I weighed him a few days ago and he was 22+ pounds! He is still doing the army crawl but is getting up on his knees more and is much more coordinated with it (and FAST!!!) he is into everything as he explores the world around him.
